Interests and Personality

BiographyAllan Linder is a painter and sculptor born in Sacramento, California the oldest city on the west coast founded in 1849. The young Linder showed a passion and skill for drawing from an early age filling endless sketchbooks with his imagination. Linder and his three siblings were raised by his single mother that drifted through most of the Western states in search of work during his youth. This nomadic lifestyle contributed greatly to the development of his artwork and technique. Linder apprenticed with several notable artists during his travels across America. Linder garnered numerous awards for his artwork as a teenager, and enjoyed his first group exhibit at the age of fifteen. Nearly 25 years later, Linder is exhibiting in New York City where he resides, and internationally in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Hamburg, Germany; Paris, France, and Barcelona, Spain. Susie, one of the friends listed at your site, is ill. A get well letter would do her heart good and cheer her up a bit. We live in a world that does not apriciate art. We must care for eachother. So leave a post on her board if you have time. Put a smile on her face when she gets home from the hospital. L John TOX

Wow Allan, your art is beautiful. I had to double check to see if they were photographs or paintings. Just wonderful. I really like "The need for hot days" and "The Guardian".
