Interests and Personality
| Biography | My artistic journey began in childhood and led me as a young adult to study painting at the Savannah College of Art & Design. While my college studies were rich in knowledge and techniques, my own personal artistic vision had not yet broken through. It is through a blending of my work experience, and life journey that has broadened, deepened, and enriched my creative work. In looking at the imagery itself you will see vibrant color reflecting purity and innocence. Masks appear hiding the true nature of some both good and bad. Buildings become symbols of holding places, containers of memories, a safe place of shelter and protection. You will also see birds in most of the work symbolic of people both living and departed. The birds also reflect angelic messengers watching over us. |
