| Biography | About Midwestern Artist Carla Kurt:
Carla began developing her artistic abilities in high school, and has earned a Bachelor of Art Degree in Art and Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Graphics. She earned recognition through a college internship in which she created computer graphics for a project exhibited at Chicago's Museum of Science & Industry in 1985.
Today, Carla is an internationally known artist, having sold her artwork all over the world, most recently to buyers in the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Scotland, Sweden, Spain, Malta, Ireland and Norway.
Carla resides on her family farm in the rolling hills of Eastern Iowa. Surrounded by cornfields and cattle, her love and respect for nature is reflected in her deeply realistic artwork.

| Interests | I love animals, we have a dog and many barn cats to look after, I favorite activities are anything outdoors: fishing, horsebackriding, gardening |
| Music | I love the 70's - Fleetwood Mac especially - but nowadays my radio plays Carrie Underwood alot (country lives in the midwest!) |
| Films | Forrest Gump is my all-time favorite. Signs, any movie that I have to watch more than twice to catch everything is good! |
| Television | I won't miss Heros although I am a bit lost now. I LOVE to laugh at Boston Legal. |

Your drawings "feel" so real. You should consider submitting Whitetail Buck to Sports Afield or a similar magazine. It blows away commercial art.
