BiographyI am a highly determined and self motivated individual. The hard and bitter experiences of life have molded and shaped my personality and confidence. Fine arts had always been and will always be my highly cherished companion. I don’t believe in god but I do believe in my SELF. For I believe that I am the architect of my destiny. The arts give me a reason to live and I believe that I can win the hearts, feelings and appreciations of many. For me being an artist is being someone all perfect and complete. I have been teaching Arts and Design for more than 8 years now, sharing my knowledge and artistic inertia. My artworks are the conveyors and bearers of powerful messages and meanings, for I believe that I can contribute to the harmonization and peace in the world.
InterestsI have a special interest for the Arts. I feel that my affective domain gives me the opportunity to use my abilities and potentials creatively. Drawing, painting, sculpting and music are my favorites, and above all teaching and sharing whatever I have learnt is my topmost priority. I had been the fourth laureate in the Art subject and since then I have never stopped creating. This constant inner determination and quest to achieve has enabled me to work as teacher in the Secondary sector. Fine Arts and I had since then became fantastic friends destined to journey the life altogether. In the year 2004 I had my first solo exhibition of paintings and sculptures and now participations in any Art manifestations have become a routine. My artistic skills always motivate to create and as such I undertake painting and designing works on a part –time basis. I have realized many interiors and exteriors of buildings. I have done many murals, shop fronts and fountains.

Hi Vick, sorry I have not responded back. Please post messages to other artists' boards rather than your own, that way we can keep track easier. I finally checked out your website. I enjoy the second gallery most as well as your sculptures. I love your use of bold bright colors, the eyes, and gears. My favorite pieces are: "Pshycher", "i am not a saint, but i live a saintly l", "Call of time", "lift express to paradise", and "merging forever". In these I see a sense of vision, time, growth and logic; all well implimented. I hope you have been enjoying the site. ~Marianne

Some very diverse work in your gallery, I particualrly like, "I'm not a saint but I live a saintly life" great colour and compisition, and I like you use of cogs in your work about time, very clever maetaphor....Take care Clare

oh thanks. indeed i miss my paradise island a lot, the food, the sea, and my studio...i am dead here..unable to work due to limited space and materials.OH wat a world of difference,, had u tasted the alooda and the dholl puri..the sega dance and the serene beaches, amazing sunrise and sunset???oh wat am i doing here in uk????

I see you have added more pieces to blow me away. I appreciate your biography full of self-destiny...I send all love on your journey. I can imagine the transition from Mauritius to Bournemouth to be one of dynamic change. Change I see woven into the beauty of your art. Hope you get back to the Island for a dip in the Indian Ocean, a climb to Peter Boff (sp?), a dance and a conversation in beautiful and lilting creole patois.

I just realized you are in Mauritius. What a delightful island! Your mountains are so beautiful! As are your people and music! I am a big fan of Sandra Mayotte. I was lucky lucky to spend a few weeks in your country and think of it often. No wonder your art is so tremendous!
