| Biography | I am a self-taught artist, I have been painting since I was 11, when I went to junior high school and I had a really terrific art teacher, who decided I had natural talent and signed me up for a special art class of 12 students in my 8th grade year. Art was a lifeline for me! Now, I paint in acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolor and whatever else I can get my hands on. I can't seem to settle on one medium because I love a little about them all and sometimes I love to do the same painting in a couple of different mediums to see the differences. |
| Interests | Painting-right now I am obsessed with it-FFforart means Finally Free for art ( my kids are old enough to be more self-sufficient and have their own interests), I also love chasing around exotic birds with my camera, and they are all over the town I recently moved to! Quiet moments!!! |
| Music | All kinds, but I really love some of the rock classics, good jazz, contemporary christian music and anything unusual. |
| Films | "Braveheart" is my all time favorite, but I also loved "The Last Samurai" and "Titanic" I love strong, sacrificial heroes, I ball incessantly through these movies! |
| Television | Crime dramas when I actually get the time to watch TV. |
| Books | I love to read, it is hard to find the time though! Crime drama's though and art books, art magazines. |
| Heroes | Perry Mason, Jesus, H., an honest, unshakeable person who can't be bought. I'm glad when I see everyday heroes. |

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY! IN THE LAST YEAR I HAVE COMPLETED 18 PAINTINGS. I HAVE BEEN IN 5 SHOWS, SOLD 3 PAINTINGS AND HAVE BEEN ON THE COVER OF THE NEW WORLD VIEW JOURNAL. IT HAS NOW BEEN 1 1/2 YEARS SINCE I BEGAN MY LIFE AS A PAINTER. IT HAS BEEN A GREAT YEAR; POSSIBLY THE 1ST YEAR I FELT LIKE THE PERSON I TRULY AM. LIFE IS GOOD!!

Hello fellow Floridian, you have many wonderful bird paintings. Your photos are also nice. I espeically like the "White Pelicans-group". I love pelicans, but haven't seen white ones before. It is a great shot. I also have been to the Maitland Art Center recently, I'm sure that is a great place for inspiration.

Thanks for visiting my site and your kind comments, I saw your lovely birds again, you are a lucky person because you have chance to observe them closely. I think you love them and so you draw them so nicely. And now about my paintings mediums, except banalata sen and curious I made them all through photo-shop others painted by acrylic and a little work in photo-shop. Wish your good luck, ranjan

Thank you very much...it's funny, I had the cabbage in a competition and it received an honorable mention, but the judge told me that if I had done it in an off the wall color I would have won an award! Like red maybe? LOL
