| Biography | Hello, my name is Annette and I don't pretend to be anything other than what I am am and that is a working mother of 3 beautiful teenage girls. I have a website http://archplan.tripod.com/FreespiritDesigns and have hand painted glass, glasses, vases and work mainly with glassware until I started using "Lead Relief" and found that I could use this very effectivly on glass...and that's it I was hooked! Originally I filled in with beads, but then I discoverd enamel paint and glitter and since then I have been using these as my main mediums. My favorite things to draw are butterflies, dragonflies, fairies, mermaids, birds, flowers or anything to do with the fantasy world. I never do the same thing twice as I am not into the twee or commercial side of the business or mass production. |
| Interests | I love where I live (Weymouth, Dorset, part of the beautiful Jurassic coastline) and spend a good deal of time out walking with my camera or just enjoying the views. I love spending time with my girls, but as they are getting older this gets less and less and is more precious than golddust! |
| Music | I have a great love of music, my main love is Dance/Trance. I've seen some of the worlds greatest DJ's like Paul Okenfold, DJ Sammy, Tiesto, Fontaine and the like but I also love most other kinds of music and have a vast collection of CD's from Rock to Classical. Pink Floyd, 10cc, The Eagles, Scissor Sisters, Prince, George Micheal, The Hoosiers, Foo Fighters, Def Leapord and so on... |
| Films | I'm a horror/sci phi fan and love all the Alien/Predetor films but am also a lover of driving films like, Gone in 60secs, Driven, The Fast & The Furious etc but I also love Period Dramas and Disney films |
| Television | I love to watch Dragons Den, Top Gear, Brainiacs and The Natural World |
| Books | Stephen King, Dean Kontz, James Herbert spring to mind but I've read a huge number of books and love coming accross new authors who write well! |
| Heroes | It's hard to name a hero but I have admired Margaret Thatcher, Gandi and many others for their spirit and wish to change the world to a better place! |
