| Biography | JoeRay, a native of Missouri, USA, has been well represented throughout the mid-west US and his work had been accepted and rewarded in many regional, national and international juried art shows and exhibitions. He is one of the over 600 artists from around the world to exhibit his work at the 2003 Biennale Internazionalle Dell'Arte Contemporanea, Florence, Italy December 6-15, 2003. He has been invited to exhibit in the 2007 Biennale Internazionalle Dell'Arte Contemporanea, in Florence.
National and international artist’s societies have recognized and rewarded his talent with Signature Artist induction. Hey JoeRay, I like your new painting very much. Tell me, how do you like using the water soluble oils. I usually do an underpainting in acrylic, then use oils. I'm thinking about trying the water soluble oils instead. Do they try as fast as acrylic?

Thank you for viewing my work JoeRay. And thank you for your service to our country. My painting "Honor" is one of my favorites and I often get chocked-up even when I look at it. My husband is a Viet Nam Vet as well. He searved in the First Infantry Division. Thanks again, and keep me posted when you add any new work. ~ Marianne

Hi Joe, just found your site today and am very impressed. I have many favorites, and I probably still missed a few. The ones that really stood out for me were; "Generations", "Across the Pacific", "Neon Horses" and "Looking to the Furture or Remembering the Past?". Very nice work. ~Marianne

Your paintings called "Final Stiches" & "Blue Grass to Brahms" are my favorite. The compositions and colors really caught my eye. I like the small town feel of these paintings. I am going to Springfield, MO in Aug. to visit my brother. I love the Ozarks!

Thanks for your comments and for visiting my gallery. I am working on two more, hopefully I can finish them this week sometime. My family and I are busy redoing the outside of the house this year. Very time consuming but it gives me time to think about creating while sanding down the back porch before we paint it. Ideas have been coming to me while doing mundane everyday things. Then I create at night after everyone is in bed. Have a great week.
