Interests and Personality
| Biography | I think Ani Difranco said it best in one of her first songs "art is why I get up in the morning, but my definition ends there
and it doesn't seem fair
that I'm living for something I can't even define". It was first a nessecity then a passion and now its turned into pure compulsion. My work keeps me grounded.
At an early age I began devoting much of my free
time to music, performance art, and photography,
as was encouraged by my mother & grandparents.
Coming from a family of performers I suppose it
was only natural that I would find my true home
in the art community. For many years I have
experimented with different methods of self
expression. Finally 2 years ago I came face to face
with my demons and as an abuse survivor found
the best therapy was to create beauty out of
darkness. So, my path led me here to digital art --
a limitless world where I can create moments that
never would have existed. |
| Interests | Art, Music, Metaphysics & Activisim.
I'm an abuse survivor and also a Major supporter for animal rights. |
| Music | Is My passion, the air I breath. If Art is my expression music is my soul.
I particularly love punk, cabaret and anything etheral. Emilee Autumn, Dresden Dolls, Tom Waites, Ani Difranco, The Clash,PJ Harvey, Sade, NY Dolls, Joni Mitchell, Nick Cave, Karen O, Joss Stone, Gramm Rabbit, Satillo, Motzart, Schubert, Cole Porter, Velvet Acid Christ, GWAR, Arch Enemy, Manson, Zepplin, The Smiths, Suede, Catherine Wheel, AFI, Tears for Fears, and the list goes on... |
| Films | Anything a little different & a bit extreme. I particularly love Independant films and classic horror or noire. |
| Television | IFC =] BBC & The History Channel. I' also a law & order SVU & CI fan. |
| Books | Reading ANYTHING makes me indescribably happy -- even the backs of cereal boxes. I grew up reading the classics and a lot of macarbe tales. I'm also a huge fan of poetry. |
| Heroes |
Jack Kerouac, Man Ray, Gustave Cailibotte, Orsen Wells, Francis Bacon, Helena Blavatsky, Annie Bessant, Tamara de Lempicka, Dante Alighieri,Christina & Dante Rosetti, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec,Jean Cocteau
Rene Claire
Germaine Dulac
Antonin Artaud
Leon Trotsky
and...
Andy Warhol, Edvard Munch,Tito Trelles, Ivan Yakovlevich Bilibin, Mikhail Aleksandrovich Vrubel, Gustav Klimt,Cyril Tourneur,Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Webster, Robert Louis Stevenson,Capote,Vonnuget,Anne Rice, Steven King, Poe, ...and many more |

Susuie, one of the friends listed at your site, is ill. A get well letter would do her heart good and cheer her up a bit. We live in a world that does not apriciate art. We must care for eachother. So leave a post on her board if you have time. L John TOX
