| Biography | My background is eclectic in that I have considered my formal education as work and the various jobs I've had as primarily educational.
My interest is centered in communication. It was with that in mind that I studied English and linguistics in college until I realized that verbal communiction is a wonderful tool for communicating on some levels, but that it is woefully inadequate for imparting meaning on other levels. For example, every part of a sailboat and evey action pertaining to each has a specific nomenclature without which succesful sailing would be nearly impossible.
However, to communicate the impressions; abstract concepts; thoughts pertaining to the subjective, intimate processes that are actually the more essential aspects of our personalities, language fails.
For that reason I have come to rely on art to attempt to show what I think and feel about that which is verbally inexpressible. |

Exhibitions

The silk is washable and dry cleanable, pure China Silk printed and processed by the artist in limited editions.

Hey, I haven't been online here for awhile. I've been searching for exhibits for my work in the real world. Seems no one is ever online anymore here. I've been on Facebook networking with people there for my art too. Lots of cool dicussions in different groups. I've been hanging out with Reiki and Intuitive people there. I am receiving my Reiki Master training in June, I can't wait. Don't be a stranger :)

Hi Robbie, WOW... you have some stuff on here I have not seen yet. I really like how your art looks on canvas but I think my favorite print medium is the silk. The Beaconing on the silk as a sarong is just WONDERFUL, I wish everyone could see this silk habotai in person. AND...I can't wait till your first shirt is ready with your art piece "Soul of a Bird" and to think, you can create these for other artists too...what a great new way to show off art.

sorry for delay, I m preparing an email for the artist participating in the event, There is a problem with the org and the issue is no sponsors for the show or more sponsors needed. I will not go to this event , the administrator for such events wants to charge entry cover 65 dollars, I told her that we are already donating and having to go there spend moneys in hotel and tolls plus the 25 fee. I spoke with the other artists and none agree with the increased entry fee. If you like you can still go but is really up to you, I will be removing blog with pictures. let me know what you think. cg
