Hi SallyMae, thanks for the visit. Been ever so BUSY. But next week will be bringing things down. So I hope I ll have time to paint etc. I do have a date set for my next solo - ie the 14th Nov next, in Passau Germany. Should be another challenging couple of months. Please God, all will go smoothly. I hope you are well and the extreme weather you have had there did not affect you. "Keep your brushes wet" ey, and keep well. Best wishes always Dora

I'm pretty sure I'd be dead by now if I'd have stayed. Great thing is the foundry (hell) has been closed down and the owner (satan) has been given a massive fine for neglecting safety rules. When I was there 2 people were nearly crushed to death by the same machine, one man had a molten aluminium droplet fall down the crack of his buttocks as he bent down near a freshly poured casting and a work experience school kid had his toes run over by a fork lift- all this in a period of about 6 months. Ahh life is bliss these days.

Back in NOLA and off again to NC. I want to thank Kathy Barnhart and Mister Rick in Camden, Arkansas for making our 'hurrication' as lovely as possible.

Hi Sally : Not yet but I have some Ideas of what I'd like to do back there. Maybe I will rent the equipment for a week end and see. United Metals is just down the street and they have every kind of shape and size to choose from so I won't lack materials. I think my friend has a wholesale account with them. Haven't been in here much and haven't touched a brush in three month. A real painters block this time. Just too much on my plate and uneasy about the future. Not much fun to talk to when I get like this, a real downer. Hope you have a great week end and hope you're painting, Your pal Mike

SallyMae, I agree with you on the people of New Orleans being heroes that the U.S. Gov't. turned it's back on. That atrocity will forever be on Bush's resume. I hope all of the artists do artworks that will embarrass the gov't to actually do something besides pose for photo ops. Keep up your good work.-AzArtist
