| Biography | James Parkinson has worked as a free-lance Illustrator for a variety of private companies, retail, music and educational establishments. He enjoys working as a portrait artist for the public and designs art work for various musical acts. His work is imaginative, full of character and thought provoking, achieving style through using bright, flat colours and expressive markings. James also shows a rare versatility to his craft that successfully communicates to the required audience. James currently supervises A-Level Art, Photography and Graphics students and also teaches printmaking techniques, portraiture and caricature, with particular attention on conceptual illustration. James graduated from a BA Hons Ilustration Degree at Loughborough University in 2003. |
