| Biography | I am an artist, photographer and graphic designer. I began drawing at 5 years-old and comic books functioned my earliest inspiration. Today, my strongest influence is Michelangelo, and living artist, Dave McKean.
Currently, I combine photography, hand-drawn art, Paintings, Found Objects, and texturing. My goal is to create a realistic focal point with a surrealistic background. I focus on forging image manipulation and realism, but I continue to pursue new techniques all the time. Though I have taken traditional art classes, I am highly self-motivated.
My artwork has been featured in local galleries and Photography/Art Exhibition. In 2007, I received the 1st Place Award for Best Mixed Media Artwork for my piece titled "Orpheus." You can see more of my work at my website www.spermacydeart.com |
