| Biography | I am 35 years young. I grew up in a small west coast city called Ventura California. At the age of five I begin to have a keen interest in drawing. I found that it was a way to express my feeling and live out some of my fantasies. As time went by with the critique and encouragment of my father I got more detailed and better at what I put down on paper. Over time art began to have a more profound affect on the way that I looked at things. I could look at a painting done by Georgia Okeefe, or one from a talented five year old and feel the ache of appreciation that it would bring to my heart.
I am a mother, I love my children and I am proud to say that they too are talented and inspired to be artistic in their own way.
My drawings are inspired and based on my profound respect for motherhood, and of nature.
I will continue to be inspred by all that is around me and will keep learning. |
