| Biography | I am obsessive. If I cannot paint I will draw. If I cannot draw I will write, or construct using anything at hand.
I am fascinated by London and its people. The energy, the grubby, changing beauty of it all, is at the heart of my work. In my cityscapes I try to capture the paradoxes:
the shifting, mesmeric, dynamism that twinkles, jewel-like, despite the litter, the grime, the crime, the pollution... I want to shout out for the city kids demonised because of fashio, & am intrigued and in awe of those who risk everything to leave their home and start afresh in London. All connect: as neighbours, potential friends and subjects of painterly examination. |

Hi! Listen, I have about 6 months to prepare for my first solo show, and I was hoping you could assist me. I will need to have at least 30 paintings to display. If you could, with as much honesty as possible, please name 2 of my completed pieces that you feel I should definitely show. Also, please share 3 things with me, based on my current work, (remember be honest), that you would recommend to me for improving my art in general.
