Thank you for the acknowledgement. It's always rewarding to know my art has made a connection and hopefully inspired. You work is akin to some of my perception of reality.
Good stuff !!!!

thanks for having a look/see. Sugar Snap's chia pet beret held up heroically. Thinking about next year to have chia pet chaps, vest and 10gal hat and costume as Nasturtium Cowboy. Are you still shoveling snow? Painting?

Hello, Wyatt. I just posted 'Sugar Snap' Mardi Gras costume pictures up in my gallery. Now that she is lovingly folded and sent to the attic, wet brushes are on the agenda. Spring is almost here, have heart!

Thank you, Wyatt, I do so love that poem! I was going to set it into the book in my Scotch painting (alas, still unfinished) but it looked cramped as the book is too small and my letters were not nearly good enough. The poem deserves a better venue but, I may write it around the sides to be invisible from the front. I must say, the Caol Ila Scotch was a heavenly muse as well.
Hope your snow laden projects leads you quickly to fine painting in NC...the Muse tends toward insistence, as you well know.

Sally Mae - Right now I'm watching snow pulling its blanket around the landscape outside my window. I just returned from Ohio a few days ago. I am finalizing the necessary inconveniences of daily life so I can go to NC for the Winter and PAINT... yeah! I was in Maui recently visting an artist friend, John Woodruff. While there I completed 3 small landscapes on board (2 realistic & 1 abstract). I have gravitated towards the abstract in my work. How does one communicate that which is sometimes obscured by our own reality?
Health, prosperity and Peace,
Wyatt

Thank you for your comment on Color. I use many many glazes of pure color. Often, many too many layers where I loose everything. Learning to listen to the stern voice, 'step away from the brush'
I had a fine stroll through your galleries this morning. I love your sky photographs and the mysterious junk yard vapor!
Swirling with dupioni silk today. Stitching up a 6 piece traveling ensemble. Inspired by Nellie Bly who went around the world in the 1890's in ONE outfit carrying ONE small carpet bag. Planning a visit to the west for hurricane season this year.
On the easel is an early still life. Table, basket of eggs, chickens outside the screen door. Morning light grazing over egg edges.
What are you working on?
