| Biography | I graduated in Fine-Art from Kala Bhavana, Viswa Bharati – which is the university at Shantiniketan, India, known for it's founder, the Nobel laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore.
I have never been keen on pursuing a 'career' in art – since my artwork is mostly directed towards 'self-exploration', rather than self-projection. And besides, I really can't work according to any predefined stipulations – the 'market', a 'buyer', whatever!
After graduation I have seriously taken up a teaching as a profession – I love to work with young children. However, after four different attempts at retaining art-teacher positions in various schools, I have come to realise that the prevalent, mainstream education system is not my cup of tea!
Over the past few years, while working as a maintenance manager at a rural-developmental organisation, I have been dreaming of opening my own school…

Hey Aaaaditto. Susie, one of the friends listed at your site, is ill. A get well letter would do her heart good and cheer her up a bit. We live in a world that does not apriciate art. I really appreciate your frankness. Colors are pretty true in photos so you wouldn't like paintings in person either. I paint paintings I dig, no 'deeper' message than that. And pretty much rebel against art that 'says something'. If I want to say something, I have words. Funny the prints spoke to you, I think they are my weakest endeavor! Learned a lot from this exchange aditto. keep on keeping on.
