Interests and Personality
| Biography | I am grateful for my painting career because it has been good therapy, a great adventure, and much fun. I like my paintings to be mysterious and thought provoking, sometimes moody and a little melancholy. My work is spiritual, political, and non-objective abstract. I paint in a hundred different methods to achieve an exciting visual statement. My creative energy changes frequently in terms of application and design. Life experiences, with deep emotion, explode on my canvas and nearly paint themselves. Other works require great contemplation and evolve over long periods of time. These works have a rhythm of changing moods and are difficult to bring to a conclusion. One day they are just complete like a long journey. For me Art is a journey into the unknown because I am always pushing the things I know to find the things I don't know. My Art is full of personal discovery and the challenge of abstract thought. |

Hey Mike, Great to see your message about getting back to painting, lead on fearless one. I will get back to it as soon as the garden in re-constructed. Construction workers are gone and now de-toxing my brain from pandemonium. While all the 'work' was going on I had 3 major visits from mentors and have a great curiosity now as to how the muse will manifest. For sure, I will be laying 'glazing' aside and mixing colors instead of using random happenstance. Funny, I mixed colors for the house and they turned out great. Near impossible to glaze a friggin house! So, clear your tables, find your paints, and put on your dancing shoes! I am right behind you.
