Interests and Personality
| Biography | I'm a California girl, but living in AZ. I am happily married and have a beautiful son. I started painting with my grandma in a class with a bunch of old ladies. I then moved to Arizona and went to art school. I majored in Advertising art but my passion still lies with the fine arts. I love and appreciate all art in all of its forms. I work for a newspaper, where I do studio photography, illustration, and color correction. My favorite place to be is the ocean. It inspires me and gives me a sense of freedom..
I really dont know what else to write here. If there is anything you want to know just ask. Im pretty easy going and quite a bit off center!!! ;o) |
| Interests | Painting, drawing, beading, photography, the ocean, music, the rain, poetry, clubs, hanging out with friends, my family, movies, laughter, good books, good food, working out, watching my son explore and discover the world around him, being curious, learning new things, travel. |
| Music | All kinds of music!!! Electronica, trance, goth, rock, reggae, ethereal, oldies...pretty much everything but country or gangster rap. |
| Films | I love movies..anything that will make me laugh or cry..I love dumb comedies like Airplane. I love pretty much all of Tim Burton's films and anything that Johnny Depp is in. |
| Television | CSI, Sex and the City, Two and a Half Men, Grey's Anatomy, Discovery. |
| Books | I've recently gotten into Neil Gaiman's books. Neverwhere was awesome! |
| Heroes | I very much admire people who have the courage to be themselves and go for what they want. |

Hello again: I was wondering if there are any contemporary abstract galleries in Tucson and if so, where they might be located? My Sister lives on the north side of mt. Lemmon and so I haven't been to the heart of town in years. I don't really remember an arts district. Maybe there is one on E. 22nd St. LOL, Mike PS. I kinda doubt it, more like Speedway or up town 4th and something.

Welcome to the site all the way from Phoenix, LOL! I like "Creative Block". I don't think I have a block at times, more like a change of direction that confuses and frustrates a flow I think I should be in. Mt. Lemon, Sabino Canyon, and East 22nd St, Are favorits of mine. Have fun here, it's a great site to meet artists from all over the world, Mike

Great stuff, I love "Losing Oneself", suitably dark and morbid.
