BiographyI have been drawing for as long as I can remember but only started to paint in 1995 while recovering from a back injury. When I first started to draw, I drew geometric shapes in various colors on notebook paper. I was fascinated by color and how different combinations could be visually appealing. I eventually started to draw clothing and I got an Associates Degree in Fashion Design. I wanted to be CoCo Chanel:)When I got my associates and couldn't find a job as a designer, I pursued other interests.I didn't want to stay in school. I continued to draw and then I injured my back and was off work for a year. During that year I started to paint. I received commissions right away and I started a line of note cards in 2000. I took my first painting class in 2005.
