| Biography | I graduated from John Moores University in 2003 with a Degree in Fine Art. My recent work was a Commission for the new Grandstand at Aintree Racecourse and comprised of two twelve foot by six foot paintings and one sixteen foot by eight foot painting. The large scale paintings (acrylic on canvas) were inspired by the skill and bravery of the horses and jockeys as they took on the formidable fences of the famous Grand National course. As well depicting racing scenes I am also fascinated by nature and the historical narrative of landscape. My paintings primarily concentrate on depicting a wide range of images directly inspired by both the natural world and the environment. In 2006 I started up Cassie Creations a greeting card company specialising in unique, quirky and original designs. The cards are all bold, colourful and can be used for many different occasions.
