Thanks for your kind comments. Mrs. Parks is a big heroine of mine. I am sorry to hear about your plight early on in life trying to express yourself artistically. I experienced a similar reaction when I decided to pursue art as a career. But I was away at college by then and making my own decisions. I had always illustrated when I was younger, constantly sketching but never really considered it more than a hobby til I ran into an artist who encourage me to take the next step. I admire your desire to share your love of art with special needs children. It is a noble aspiration.

Thanks for visiting my site. I appreciate your comments. I am glad you are pursuing your dream of teaching art and music to kids. I've put off my art career too and went in graphic design but wasn't happy. Now I design only for myself and much happier. I haven't sold any yet but I am getting my art in the world this year and starting to do some group shows too. This site is a good tool to get instant feedback from other artist.
