""sinking ships"""' wonderful image/illustration... sharon13

This is the first art I have seen on this site that looks as though I drew it. Needless to say I love it. Please look at my website and let me know if you see any similarities. Margaret, Artist at Work,

we'll miss you - such a jolly chappy

Hey, I'll miss your truth as you know it. Angst on, boyoyo.

Your work is quite interesting. I tend to like your more colorful works. The titles definitely give other perspectives on your work and a new way to look at each piece.

So tell me what you really think. Like your stuff. Bud C

nice work, nets

Enjoy my videos:

birth day party, i like, surrealist approach(i feel that)

amazing works specially ur drawings are very very expressive gr8 going all d best

Thats really great to know that you are happy after all. One day if I have time I ll tell you about what it was like living in Malta in the 70s and 80s under a mad dictatorship... I think after living through 25 + years of political and religious suppression and corruption, and surviving it you just want to forget what its like and surround yourself with peaceful and positive things. Hence my reaction I guess.

Perhaps we should leave it at that then. In fact take care and keep exorcising.

I knew what I said might get you hot under the collar... but as you said who cares... Come to think of it that's my mistake... I care too much, not about what people have to say but seeing them enjoying being miserable like you.

Hi comrade, your work is very strong and full of attitude. Thing is life is too short to be like this for no apparent reason. You are still definitely too young to be so negative and self destructive. Expressionist art (which is what you seem to express yourself with) came about during the second world war in Europe when concentration camps where started and people saw and lived through some unspeakable attrocities. Nowadays there is still a trend to express this but there is a lot of decrepit art about but it definitely is not popular art. Museums display for the sensationalism it brings. Art was always meant to give pleasure or record history. Great patrons invested lots of money in Art over centuries. It is only the last few decades that it has deteriorated. Life is tough but art is there to give people pleasure. For most it is Recreational ... that is to recreate themselves. So work towards recreating yourself in a positive and enriching way. Read about art history and learn more about it and you ll learn to appreciate it and the talent required to create a great work of art. Keep painting Dora.

yeah about paper...why do I do my best stuff on bev naps or readily compost-able material? A compatriot advised to go broke buying paper and leave it on every available surface, then when you get something going it'll keep. I'm not there yet but enough 'there' to holler at cha. your shit deserves it.

i meant to say by your art not my your art, but i am at work and looking over more sholder constantly. ha

Hi! Listen, I have about 6 months to prepare for my first solo show, and I was hoping you could assist me. I will need to have at least 30 paintings to display. If you could, with as much honesty as possible, please name 2 of my completed pieces that you feel I should definitely show. Also, please share 3 things with me, based on my current work, (remember be honest), that you would recommend to me for improving my art in general. I am fine if you post this on my public board because it may be interesting to others. The feedback from other artist on this website is very valuable to me. Thanks! ~Marianne
