Interests and Personality
| Biography | I met and married my soul mate, JR, when we were in the Navy. After the Navy we discovered our love for stained glass artwork and handcrafted jewelry. We started doing art shows and festivals several years ago, and moved into a store front for a couple of years where we also taught classes to some eager and fun women. The store was in a beautiful old building, built around the turn of the century, called "The Sycamore Market Place" in historic downtown Kokomo, Indiana. We did four large 30"x40" windows that still hang over the stage area there. At the present, we have both of our studios in our home where we work by appointment only. If you see anything that you would like to purchase and are not a member of MyArtProfile.Com and don't wish to be, you may contact us at crywnd@yahoo.com and we will be happy to assist you with your order there. Thanks for stopping by www.myartprofile.com/cwc. |
| Interests | Life to its fullest, love to its greatest and the pursuit of happiness to its most enlightening. I also love music of all kinds, from Mozart to Nickelback. (It's bad when the Metallica CD under the Christmas tree is for me instead of my granddaughters!) I also enjoy reading, collecting rocks, numerology, and answering that nagging age old question...."Have the aliens landed yet?". If anyone does by chance have the answer to that question please let me know, as I am sure I've seen a few of them around here lately.... |
| Music | Well in classical Mozart, Bach, Wagner, and Puccini to name a few. In rock there is Nickelback, Metallica, Bruce, all the old rock bands like Zeppelin, Janis, Hendrix. I think it's safe to say that for the most part I haven't found too much that I haven't really liked in the rock or Blues type genres. |
| Films | Harold & Maude (a classic!) Easy Rider (another classic!) Planes, Trains and Automobiles (just a great movie!) The Rocky Horror Picture Show (ok, I did bring my own paper sack, but that's all!) |
| Television | "Saving Grace" (great show!) I love the BBCA show "You Are What You Eat". It sure makes me stop and think. Oh give me a show that has something to do with ghosts, ESP, UFO's, conspiracy theories or psychic phenomenon and I'm there. One of the first pictures my youngest granddaughter painted for me years ago was of me being beamed up by a UFO. I still have it today. It has become my favorite! |
| Books | Behold a Pale Horse (something to think about!) What can I say, I'm just a collector of books, ask my husband. I love having them around. There is something comforting about them. I love being able to reach over and be able to read a book on any subject I choose when ever I choose. The only problem with that is that there is never enough space, but that's ok, all I need is a comfortable chair or sofa and that book. |
| Heroes | There's just something special about my husband. He's a stained glass artist like me, but he doesn’t realize just how awesome he really is, so check him out at www.myartprofile.com/stained_glass. There is also something special about my mother. She has stood up against abuse, cancer, hard times, and a lot of personal issues that she never let on about to her family or friends. She has been to hell and back several times and no one ever knew it. I also have an Uncle who is my moms older brother, he was the Father that our Father never was. Life smoothes old wrinkles and makes some of them go away. In this case, time has been a friend to us all. |

Hi CWC. Susie, one of the friends listed at your site, is ill. A get well letter would do her heart good and cheer her up a bit. We live in a world that does not apriciate art. We must care for eachother. So leave a post on her board if you have time. Put a smile on her face when she gets home from the hospital. L John TOX
