BiographyAfter doing an arts foundation course in Nelson, Lancashire I was seduced by the theatre and went on to do a degree in Theatre Design at the Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. I was waylaid by TV, Theatre and film propmaking for almost 15 years. My chosen medium for my portraiture was originally pastel, but I started working in oils in the late 1990's and haven't picked up my pastels since. However since discovering the joys of digital portaiture using Photoshop my oils too have taken a back seat. You can find my old website published in the book 'The Perfect Digital Portfolio' by Ava Publishing. My work has been seen in the 2nd series of BBC's Doctor Who in the episode 'Girl in the Fireplace. I painted the actress Sophia Myles as Madame de Pompadour. ______________Visit my website here.... www.amandaclegg.co.uk
