Thank you for your kind compliments. I am trying to go beyond painting basic images and creating art with more of a theme. Up to this point I have directed my efforts more so at learning the technique. I truly enjoyed your works and look forward to viewing much more.

I went to a class for the first time yesterday because the woman said she could teach me classic painting. I picked "the watchdog" by Paulus Potter. I really like that painting. Of course now that I have sat back and looked at it, guess what? The perspective is off! haha. I am manic so I laugh. :) But it is in good spirits. I will do what I can to fix the problem and if I can not, I will just paint the picture and then do it all over. :) I will post it when I am done.

Your right about my perspective problem. I am always fighting with that problem. I am trying to work on buildings and getting the perspective right. I just do not know how to do it properly I guess. I "really" struggle. I tried to use the "string". Guess I have to stick to graphs. I just wanted to be able to do everything by eye. I wanted to be able to what I want when I want. :) I get frustrated. I think too much with the right side I guess.

Hi Anthony. So tell me something... .Did you ever get discouraged so greatly that you wanted to give up and who (artist) inspires you? I like the Victorian art and some day I want to paint stories and History as they did at that time. Dutch and Flemish artists are some of my favorites. Most of all however, my heart belongs to Leonardo. I want to paint the classics again. I know not a lot of people care for that art anymore. It's modern or nothing but I guess I am an old soul. I like the paintings that you have created and I wanted to give you my respect. :)

Hello friends, this is a general message to all fellow Artist who have asked to be a friend; I’m sorry it has been some time I have been in Australia for a while and found I could not log in when I returned, I’ve only just solved the problem. I’m happy for you to join me, I will answer and view the Art of each of you which may take a little time; again I apologise for the long delay. My very best regards. Anthony.
