Interests and Personality
| Biography | I spent the better part of childhood in both Virginia and Massachusetts, so I have an accent which fits neither region. I got through highschool with fairly good grades, and a healthy disrespect for most of my peers. I was accepted at Massachusetts College of Art, and spent 5 amazing years amongst other artists. I spent a year as a Metals major, but then switched to Illustration. In 1999, I took a year off to move to Port Townsend, WA with my family. It was incredibly beautiful, and was beneficial to my artwork and attitude towards people. I moved back to Boston in 2000 to finish at MassArt, and graduated in 2002. I spent the summer of 2002 backpacking along the CA coast and returned to WA. In September of 2002, I moved to San Francisco, and got a job with an Archaeology firm, and have been there ever since. There's way more to the story, but I'm kind of tired of typing. |
| Interests | Anything outdoors, especially if it involves alcohol and recreational drug use, spending days in the studio, looking around me for inspiration in life and art, going to see a great band, coffee and cigarettes and people watching and a sketchbook, sleeping, cooking, eating, drinking, messing with peoples perceptions of who I am, thinking about things and stuff, paintball, and so much more... |
| Music | Ween, Necrowafers, Hieroglyphics Crew, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank III, Billie Holiday, Faith No More, Mr Bungle, the Pixies, Al Green, Prince, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and so much more |
| Films | Amelie, Batman, the Big Lebowski, Alfred Hitchcock films, Fantastic Planet, Maltese Falcon, Anchorman, Taladega Nights, and lots more... |
| Television | The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, South Park, the Sopranos, Twin Peaks... |
| Books | 50 Secrets of Magic Craftsmanship, Rule of the Bone, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles, The Stranger, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Catcher in the Rye, Native Son, In Small Things Forgotton, A Short History of Nearly Everything, Tropic of Cancer, Tropic of Capricorn, Billiards at Half Past Nine, and so many others... |
