i know what u mean abt using a mannual camera and with the use of the darkroom you get to have that hands on aproach which the computer dose not let u do that as much....i used the darkroom for the last 6 years and still find myself coming up with a diff creative approach....i find the digital camera takes all the fun of learin wot speed and wot amuture should be used in order to achieve the right image. cos the digital camera kinda dose most of that for u....the only thing i like abut the digital SLR is the fact tht the images can be seen straight up .....i take it u use photoshop...
