BiographyBeen involved with art all my life (dad was an artist too)Was heavily into fiber art in the 1970s, been raising kids and build our house since the 1980s, painting for about 20 years, full time at it for the last 5 to 6 years, mainly oils and acrylics. Subjects at the moment are mainly places Ive been to and aspects of the land, sea and sky scapes. Into the colour and texture of the paint, mainly like working with painting knives. I get a real buzz from the other people who like my art and especially when people want to hang it in there homes. Actually Jacko - just checked out the CANE FIRES AT NIGHT wow...brilliant. all the footage we see here in NZ is often of the humungous bush fires over in Oz and it I try to spare a few thoughts for those affected by them. by the way, THE CASTLE is one of our fave movies at our place. HOW THE SERENITY? :O) SEE you at Bonnydoon! :o)
