| Biography | I was born and raised in Maryland, just outside Washington, DC. I went to Hood College in Frederick, MD and graduated with a BA in psychology and a BA in Math Secondary Ed. I married a Norwegian and moved to Norway for 14 years, had two children and moved back to the US after I was widowed.
While in Norway, I learned to create silver filigree jewelry. My technique is based in the Norwegian technique, but the style is all my own.
In 2006, I wrote and published a book, "Silver Threads, Making Wire Filigree Jewelry" through Kalmbach Publishing.

it's dichroic glass....a manmade glass which uses rare earth materials to create an iridescent effect....
