Although I only began my life as an artist in earnest back in 2001, I can easily see the need to create filled me from a young age. I took doodling to the extreme... Notebooks covered with sketches & detailed designes, letters (even the envelopes) coated in bright colors and ornate mosaics. Now my paintings are of a more representational or illustrative style. I specialize in wildlife art and commissioned portraits of pets, animals & even humans on occasion. |

I'm an informaion junkie, I love to learn & following my desire to discover often takes me down unexpected paths. I love country living & when I'm not homeschooling my children or painting you can find me out in the yard gardening, caring for our little show bunny herd or just enjoying nature with my husband & kids. |
| Music | I love all kinds of music. My moods rule the selection... Lately I've been listening to a lot of Rosemary Clooney, Benny Goodman, Peggy Lee & Ella Fitzgerald. In the recent past I'd been playing Modest Mouse, the Propellerheads, Sting, Rodney Crowell, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, The Highwaymen, K.T. Tunstall, Concrete Blond, Brad Paisley, and so many more. |

I also use to blaze through Stephen King & Dean Koontz novels, now I pretty much stick to the nonfiction. But I love a good terrifying book :) |
