| Biography | I am 19 years old and have always had an interest in Art. After studying for Higher and Advanced Higher at school I have just completed a Portfolio Preparation course at Dundee College. In September 2007 I begin studying on the BA (Hons) General Art Course at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee.
My favourite subject for painting and drawing is nature, and I have been particularly inspired by the paintings of Elizabeth Blackadder and Schiele. Another artist whom I admire is Andy Goldsworthy, with his use of natural materials. During the past year I have began enjoying life drawing.
At the moment I’m not sure which area of art I would like to specialise in but I am very keen to experiment, and I look forward to the challenge and experience of studying art in more depth and being guided and trained by experts in the field. |
