| Biography | I am an artist, author, wife, and mother, although not always in that order. I have come late to painting, only about 6 years ago. Before that I was a successful author for over 20 years. In my "day job," I homeschool my child and I am a Notary. |
| Interests | My current artistic obsession is botanical illustration, and I have been taking master's classes in it for the past year or so. My main media is watercolor, although I also have done some work in graphite, pen, clay, and gouache. I am a member of numerous art societies, including WWAO. |
| Music | I like most types of music, but I especially like John Mayer, Mark Knopfler, Yo-Yo Ma, Chris Isaak, and the Indigo Girls. |
| Films | It's easier to say what I don't like. I dislike violent, war-like movies and movies about violence and war. I also dislike really dumb movies, or movies where people act stupid. |
| Television | I know it sounds snobbish, but I don't watch television, except for when there are new episodes of Dr. Who. |
| Books | I love books, and try to read as much as I can. Like film, I dislike violent, war, and war-like books. My favorite authors include Charles de Lint, Patricia McKillip, and me. :) |

Hi Lindac, I enjoyed viewing your work. I love your cat, "I didn't do it". Yes, I heard that before from my own cat. My husband and I also homeschool. We have a 6 year old. I'm curious about your books; please tell me more.

Greetings, Lily of the stars is awesome and inspiring. How does one achieve such color and form with watercolors is beyond me. Yes i am sure if i had lesson i might be better but i refuse to be molded. Cheers
