BiographyI am born and raised in California. Both of my parents are artists, father a painter, mother a ceramic artist. I studied photography when I was younger and thought that it would always be my primary focus, but as my drawing skills developed I found myself enjoying it so much more. I studied commercial art in college, without much success or interest. I have always been able to learn more on my own.
InterestsI'm a typical guy in some respects. I love sports and being active. Cycling, rock climbing, and mountaineering, surfing. I love art and forms of expression. Photography is also a big love of mine. I'm constantly taking pictures, have been since I was around ten.
FilmsAlfred Hitchcock is one of my big favorites, animation, anime as well.
BooksI don't read as much as I would like too. Time is such a luxury. Cormac McCarthy is probably my favorite author. Any Frank Miller comic is up on my list as well.
HeroesAnsel Adams, Edward Hopper, Thomas Hart Benton, Maurice Sendak, Frank Lloy Wright...just a few.
