| Biography | I was born in Paris, France, where I used to live until the age of 19 and decided to go to the USA to start a career as an artist. Things were not easy there, and after a (too) short period of time wandering around like a hobo, visiting the whole country, I came back to France to study litterature and arts. I've painted since I was a child and always thought my destiny would be to paint for a living : I just can't help it, I just need to paint at least one picture each day. I opened my own gallery in Müllheim, Germany, in 2002.
I want my paintings to be spontaneous and genuine, the way I work is often energetic, sometimes violent, especially when I paint people and cities. The human beings look most of the time weird, sad, aggressive or worried, it seems they have something to tell you about their existence in a world where "tears are hung on every tree" (Woodworth)
Now I would go for a great exhibition in a prominent city. Please, HELP ME!! |

I was about to sign off, but everytime I look at another one of your galleries I find more to love. U R truly an artist from fun sketches of yourself as a kid to sophisticated wine that makes me thirsty.lol;0)

Hi Mendel, realized haven't stopped by for a while..as always your imagery is immense and honest..catalunya caught my eye this time..spooky beautiful;!!! well, i have to tell you, 125th and lenox was a drug haven for me in the 70's... lost and desolate i started to draw while incarcerated or in rehab at any given time.. thru
exploring the art i found myself again..yes, i found love for self thru art.. and loving
myself is the only way to find love for another.. so she has come decades later, but thru the healing power of art i have found the love of a most gracious and loving woman.. yes, i think i will add her pic to my site now that i think about it:)..
