Biography

My name is Nacho Frades, I live in Spain, and I am a painter and digital artist. I am a not a very typical painter, I paint only for myself. I do not plan my works, I just remember them. When I see them, I think there is something behind that compulsory act, perhaps some kind of art. They transmit to me a feeling of frozen time, of absolute silence, of inmortality, of perfect solitude, of peace, of a deep mystery, of strong fear, but above all, I feel like an outsider that looks without being seen, that enters in the picture but the picture is unconscious about that foreign presence, I look at them in silence, not being seen. My digital work is different, I have more freedom, it's like a exhaust valve to the huge pressure of the painting. Yours affectionately Nacho Frades.
