| Biography | Born and raised in Montreal, Canada I began my creative endeavors at an early age painting murals of Japanese Gardens, Gnomes and Dragons on the walls of the kitchen and bedrooms of my parent’s home, where my mother still lives and the murals are still displayed. Commissioned to custom hand paint carousel horses at a local amusement center and various paintings, posters and banners for the local school board, unknowingly my life as a commercial artist had developed simultaneously. Moving to Los Angeles, along with my husband opened a clothing manufacturing business where I was the designer of various lines of children’s apparel stores. Deciding to change from that business in the year 2000, I renewed my fine arts spirit by drawing upon my collection of vintage toy robots for inspiration, producing whimsical, fanciful and imaginative pieces. "I put life into art, in return art gives me life I like creating art that makes you smile. Art has always been part of my life. |

I used to have these really cool toys called ROCK EM'- SOCK EM" ROBOTS........man, I loved those things. Until...KABOOM! " Aahhhhh, You knocked my Block off!" Wow...your work is fun & neato & colorful. I love it. Great Job. I feel all silly like a kid again.........WARNING, WILL ROBINSON.....WARNING...........how about that friendly robot on " LOST IN SPACE" the T.V. series???? Maybe your too young to remember that. Have you ever considered mounting your robos in the round on a lazy susan or turn table. I think being able to turn them in the round might inhance the art you do in view at a gallery/walls...Blessings...
