Interests and Personality
| Biography | Like most artists I would have drawn in the womb if I'd had paper and pencils. I can't remember when I wasn't drawing cartoons and making comic books and taking them to school to pass around to my friends. My father was a very talented artist so I inherited some of my skill from him. I graduated from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee,NC where I got a BFA in printmaking. I adore the rich graphic quality of prints even though I love pen & ink, acrylics, watercolors, and my "Compullages™." Some people will tell you that they love to do art...I have to do ART it is part of my soul. For 20 years I was Advertising and Visual Merchandising Manager for Belk stores in NC and GA. I won many awards for my work while there. Due to medical disability I now have the opportunity to chase my dream of doing fine art fulltime. Each day is a challenge, each artwork an achievement! |
| Interests | The beauty of God's creation. Great art from great artists. Acrylic paintings, relief prints, pen & ink drawings, photography, assemblage sculpture, marker drawings watercolors, and anything I can do in an artistic way. |
| Music | Classical music, folk rock, the Beatles, BeeGees, Sting, Paul Simon, Ennio Morricone, Yo-Yo Ma, Ladysmith Black Mambasso, Danny Elfman, and many movie soundtracks. Some country music but not all. |
| Films | Tombstone, Casino Royale ( and most all Bond films), Clint Eastwood Spaghetti westerns, John Wayne westerns, and The Incredibles. Batman Beyond, X-Men flicks and Spiderman flicks! |
| Television | Prisonbreak, 24, Supernatural,House. PBS art and culture programs. |
| Books | Eye sight isn't good enough to read much without distress. |
| Heroes | Jesus Christ, grandparents, father, mother, sister, wife, and my 4 children. Any common person who helps others in an uncommon way! |

Hi sethweaver, Can I help? This is a Free Forum for people like us to communicate about our passion of Art in whatever form. We are free to promote our own websites & commissions to Art lovers around the world. This website does all the advertising so we don't have to. In addition the more contacts you make in the industry the more popular we become as Artists in turn more people will show an interest in our Public Exhibitions. Keep in touch with everyone! X
