BiographyLeonardo was lucky to see the light of day under a mild summer sky, in a wonderland where sounds and perfumes bless our senses and charm our heart. His childhood was spent amidst shimmering colours, the smell of spices, musk and amber in a dreamlike world that inspired his entire being. Young and daring Leo grew up in this fascinating universe where beauty was a way of life. Often, he would meditate on this rare privilege.After creating an entire exhibition for his Majesty the late Hassan II, King of Morocco (25 oil paintings on linen cloth commemorating his 25 year reign), Leonardo left Morocco and settled in Canada. Using both verbal and visual imagery, this Montreal-based, self-employed artist modestly tries to enrich local contemporary art with her imagination and foreign sensitivity.
