Great story. I was waiting to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital for drug abuse and suicide. There was a young black man, probably 19, and he had page after page filled with ******* symbols, printed out on a computer. They were all in a nice manila envelope. The nurses looked through them and ask very politely what they were. He said “can’t you tell? They are all assholes” She dropped them as if they were. I guess you had to be there. Life is funny. The paradoxes are what get me. One learns to behave one’s self if there are real rubber rooms around the corner waiting for you. TOX

Did a coulple of Buhdda paintings myself. They are hanging in my exwife's office. She has probaly burnt them by now.
When I first moved over to painting to from photo I took two paintings, one of my best and one of my worst and one of my best and set them on fire. A Zen thing to show myself that nothing is forever or even that important. John

Here is the poem I wrote that inspired the quote. My Future's Door - By: Marianne K. Maguire Pfister ©2007
I knocked on my future's door, And asked how I got there, I told myself, Feel yourself here, And you will soon arrive.
Leaving blinded direction behind, Sensing all around me, I stepped through the door, And saw myself emerge, Right where I wanted to be.
