OK, I've posted a new creation under "Gallery Tour II", check it out and tell me what you think.

I am glad you are still pursuing your dream of becoming a fulltime artist. I just found a a cool metaphysical festival in my old hometown about 50 min. away. I am thinking of displaying my artwork there and do Reiki healings at the same time. I am getting my Master Reiki Training in June, I can't wait. I just completed a new creation called "Snow Spirits". It's still snowing here, I've lost count on how many snow storms we've had this winter. I know what you mean about the computer, I have a love/hate relationship with it myself. I'll post my new one soon and prompt you to look at it.

oh yes , thankyou , it is my favourite piece , i began it when my mother was in intensive care and finished it 104 days later when she died , its about change , being an orphan , missing her , the trauma was so horrific for so long , a state of suspended death , or suspended hope really , fluctuating between disappointment and hope , suddenly feeling there were no ace cards left apart from my children of course , and i was next , it changed everything for me , i had a strong desire for all or nothing , i wanted no more mundanity in my life. So i left my husband of 21 years and began alone. No dress rehearsals , just be the best you can k

I've been thinking of you but I haven't been online much lately. I've been trying to get my art career started by sending out submissions to art galleries and keeping busy with my son's school projects. i haven't even had time to finish any new pieces lately. I have some started but not ready to show the world yet. You will be the first to know.

Thanks for taking the time to read my little story. I'm glad you liked it. I enjoyed reading your comments. Just looked up "ixchel", very interesting. Here is a panther painting I did, in case you did not see it on my page: http://www.myartprofile.com/CreateReality/artwork/25444 This was one of my first paintings. It was based on a dream I once had. ~M

That's wonderful Vaun. Glad you are appreciating your faster connection, it does make a difference. I would love to hear more about your retreat weekend, sounds like something I could use at the moment. I have been to a few shamanic workshops myself. Actually, I just posted a short story on my Redbubble account. It is called, "Reflections: A Shaman's Story". Here's the link: http://www.redbubble.com/people/createreality/writing/786228-reflections-a-shamans-story

When you displayed your artwork in churches, how did you handle getting the word out that you had an exhibit? Did you put flyers out yourself about your exhibition or did the church help get the word out? I am stumped on how to market a potential show at a church.
